Work experience is a vital part of any medical application. It shows you have actually decided to take the initiative to go out, and find out what a career in medicine is actually like. Rather than going on your hunch or what from what you have seen on the TV. It also provides for a good conversation topic at interview.

Before I begin this post I am going to mention one important date: the 15th October. This is the date when your medicine applications need to be in by for every application cycle. Any applications sent any later than this date will not even be looked at so keep that date in the back of your mind.
In order to make the application process more easy to understand I am going to produce a flow chart and then explain what it means below.
